Finally, I left yesterday motivated me to do another one today ... So we departed with the family (except my Ado) for the Zoo sauvage of St-Felicien in winter ...
We had a wonderful temperature, a small glistening snow that fell and animals ... Do you want some? Blowin 'In!
We attended the graduation seals (of funny little critters), collation of polar bears (always impressive to see them beat the winter with so much indifference ... and babies are adorable 13 month), collation of Japanese macaques (particularly to see monkeys in the snow) and snack tigers love (whew, what beautiful animals !!!)...
We then admired the lynx and cougars while directing us to the nature trails ... the part where it was the visitors who are caged and free animals ....
As an annual pass holder for several years, we love this zoo particularly well built where the animals are treated like a king ... But it's still tens of times we visit and we see the same things .... but today, a little adventure awaited us special and different ... In the late afternoon as we were few in number to wait in the train station (about ten people), drivers have decided to offer the visiting VIP minibus ... Ouhaaahhh ... How could I refuse!
So we had priviliège a tour along with a private guide, warm in the mini-bus, instead of freezing us behind the gates of the train ... well yes, the "normal" people have blankets, but we had heat ... na ... !!!!.. We had a front row seat to see deer, moose, bison, elk, caribou and wolves .. The children had a wonderful view on the path placed in front of the bus steps, they saw everything, everything, everything ... It was a first for us and it's always nice to discover "new" when visiting a zoo for the umpteenth time ...
It was a wonderful day!
The return to the storm was less guts, but what do you ... he must suffer to enjoy life!
Good end of vacation ... and the lady is crinquée to find his little loves tomorrow morning ...
